ABOUT THE PLACE
Ormsjö is small village in a beautiful part of South Lapland, only 25 km from the the municipality center of Dorotea, with amazing fishing opportunities,. From the big lake Ormsjö, closest to the cabin, to a endless number of lakes and small rivers in the surroundings. Not far away is a small river with excellent fishing for grayling. But most of all the Ormsjö cabin is a place for the keen pike/perch fishermen.
Accomodation (6 beds):
Bottom floor: One bedroom with two single beds and one with one single bed. Kitchen, WC/shower and a dining room
Upper floor: One bedroom with two single beds and one single bed in the hallway, TV-room

FISHING AREAS
The lake Ormsjö is closest to the cabin (appr. 300 m distance). The lake starts at the outlet of the river Långseleån about 6 km from the cabin. This outlet is a popular place for fishing. The lake keeps big pike and perch, but is an open lake with not so many hidden positions by islands and bays. If the wind is strong we recommend a shift to the lake Avaträsk (10 km from the cabin) with a number of small islands and bays and a much more protect place from strong winds.
INFORMATION & BOOKING REQUEST
Ormsjö cabin is situated only 300 m from the lakeside of Ormsjö and 10 km from lake Avaträsk. It ́s a single house and the only one that is focused on fishing tourism in the area of Ormsjö/Avaträsk. Your group is almost guaranteed to be the only fishing group in this area. The house has a traditional and familiar atmosphere and its a perfect place for a group of 4-6 fishermen.
